m8mit is the e-mobility brand of the kraftwerk Group and stands for simple, scalable charging management. Since 2019, m8mit has offered a highly scalable cloud platform for billing, authorisation management and the 24/7 operation of charging infrastructure, which is already used today by more than 200 companies with access to charging points throughout Europe.

The platform supports flexible payment methods for charging via app, web app or RFID as well as Europe-wide roaming within the m8mit network. AI-supported forecasts, audit-proof billing and an intuitive web portal provide transparency and full control. m8mit delivers tailor-made, modularly integrable solutions for the entire process chain of electromobility. For fleet managers, m8mit also enables the Eichrecht-compliant recording and automated billing of company car charging as well as the settlement of charging processes at employees' homes.

A central element of our offering is the kraftwerk.Plattform, the operating system for municipal services of general interest. It is based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and bundles all processes for energy, water and heating utilities as well as for e-mobility, infrastructure, areas and quarters, sales organisations and distributors in one consistent data model, instead of running isolated solutions for individual divisions. Modules for financial management, consumption and contract billing, time series management, customer management, sales management as well as grids and assets all access the same data basis.

In addition, in the BPO area kraftwerk takes over commercial processes for utility and waste management companies in the market roles of sales and grid, on a situational, temporary or permanent basis: from billing and market communication through customer and back-office services to process optimisation and the provision of temporary skilled staff.
